What to Expect in Your First Session
- We’ll begin with a brief overview of confidentiality, legal aspects, and your rights as a client (often completed within 5 minutes).
- From there, the space is yours—feel free to begin sharing however feels most comfortable. As I like to say: I’m here as an observer of your art gallery, not a critic. You guide the narrative.
Why This Works
- Trauma-informed and comprehensive—I have experience in community-based mental health, offering support across a wide mental health spectrum, from severe diagnoses to adjustment difficulties.
- Depth and insight—Grounded in psychodynamic and attachment theories, our work explores how early patterns shape current behaviors and relationships.
- Flexibility and respect—Your story leads the process, with care rooted in empathy, curiosity, and your personal goals.
